Material failure characteristics in the ‘Nibs’ were turned off to allow full understanding of the loading behaviour during the analysis.
The analysis was able to provide Nolato a cross reference between ‘Nib’ size, required opening force and the amount of opening twist required to sperate the lid. With this information Nolato were able to determine the optimum geometry for the anti-tamper lid prior to production tooling.
